Indications

Short-term treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) when oral therapy is not appropriate.

Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (a condition causing tumors and ulcers in the stomach).

Prevention of rebleeding in peptic ulcers after endoscopic therapy.

As a prophylactic measure against stress ulcers in critically ill patients.
Side Effects
