Zofrid-OZ Tablets are a broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiprotozoal combination containing Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. This formulation is widely prescribed for the treatment of mixed bacterial and protozoal infections, especially those affecting the gastrointestinal tract.
Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, while Ornidazole effectively eliminates anaerobic bacteria and protozoa by damaging their DNA structure. Indication
